Hardware Resources Introduces Three Trend-Forward Finishes for Cabinet Knobs and Pulls

Matte Black, Satin Bronze, and Brushed Gold finishes bring new bling to the Jeffrey Alexander and Elements decorative hardware collections

(Bossier City, Louisiana, October 16, 2018) Hardware Resources, a leading manufacturer of decorative and functional kitchen and bath cabinet components, announces three hot hardware finish additions: Matte Black, Satin Bronze, and Brushed Gold. The added finishes synchronize with fashion-forward faucets, lighting fixtures, and bath fixtures such as towel bars. Because they appear in select collections within the company’s Jeffrey Alexander and Elements lines of hardware, these finishes make it easy for designers, builders, and homeowners to realize their creative visions for trend-conscious kitchens and bathrooms.

“We like to compare our on-trend finishes to a collection of fine jewelry,” says Stephanie Lowe Mersky, Decorative Products Manager for Hardware Resources. “With Matte Black, Satin Bronze, and Brushed Gold on the menu, designers now have the accessories they need to work their creative magic.”

Matte Black Hardware Complements a Variety of Design Styles
“Black is in when it comes to kitchens and baths, but it always has been thanks to its long association with elegance,” Lowe Mersky says. “Plus, it goes with everything, just like a little black dress.”

Her suggestions for using Matte Black hardware include adding a flair of drama and excitement to classic white—or trending gray-painted cabinets and updating the rustic style of cabinets made from knotty alder or hickory.

Hardware Resources’ Matte Black hardware comes in collections that range in style from Jeffrey Alexander’s sleek Sutton collection to Elements’ traditional Florence collection.

Satin Bronze Hardware Shines When Used in a Mixture of Metals
Metallic finishes—especially warm gold ones—are definitely on-trend in fall 2018, according to Lowe Mersky. Plus, the company’s new Satin Bronze finish meets the needs of designers who are blending modern and traditional styles, and balancing warm and cool tones throughout rooms.

“We pride ourselves on being a resource for designers and work hard to stay in touch with their needs,” she says. “Our Satin Bronze finish is especially useful for designers who gravitate toward mixing metals in kitchens and baths—a major trend that continues through to this fall.” Lowe Mersky also recommends using Satin Bronze hardware on black-painted or dark-stained wood cabinets to add a touch of glamour.

Hardware Resources’ Satin Bronze hardware comes in collections that range in style from Jeffrey Alexander’s classic Bremen 1 to Elements’ geometrically inspired Glendale.

Brushed Gold Hardware Adds the Feeling of Luxury to Kitchens and Baths
“Brighter, show-stopping gold accents are back,” says Lowe Mersky. “Our softly brushed, rich, warm-yellow gold tone is the ideal accent color for making a bold design statement—while simultaneously lending character and a touch of luxurious elegance to any room.”

“Brushed Gold hardware pops against white and gray cabinets just like gorgeous gold jewelry,” she adds. “And this new finish coordinates beautifully with cabinets drenched in color—such as pale sage, rich emerald green, and navy blue.”

Hardware Resources’ Brushed Gold hardware appears in Jeffrey Alexander’s streamlined Sutton collection and the more delicately featured Tiffany collection.

“Making sure that hardware matches in terms of style and finish—or is creatively paired with other metals—is a big thing in 2018,” Lowe Mersky says. “When a designer, builder, or homeowner chooses new hardware for the kitchen or bath, having plenty of options makes all the difference. That’s why we’re thrilled to offer our customers these fashion-forward finishes.”
